CodeBlue

CodeBlue was born when a mutual friend introduced Brian Adamson to Kevin Angel in a quiet hotel bar on a Sunday afternoon, while listening to some live music. Adamson was a professional musician in the UK with recording & touring band “The Out” before returning to Adelaide in the early 70s.

He expressed his interest in playing a more classy type of Blues, and on swapping phone numbers “CodeBlue” were in the rehearsal room only weeks later. After a few phone calls to experienced musicians – Anthony Moyle (rhythm guitar), high profile drummer Gary Burrows (Hall of Fame) and keyboard player Ken Skinner – the band was complete! (Ken is currently taking a well-earned break in Queensland).

CodeBlue‘s catalogue boasts a highly comprehensive mix of well-known classic material, paying tribute to some of the biggest artists of our time, including Eric Clapton, Santana, John Fogarty, early Stones, Eric Burden, Mental As Anything, Robert Johnston, BB King and Gary Moore.
