Song written by Gary Burrows in 1987, after Peter Motley’s tragic accident when a vehicle overturned and landed on his car’s roof. Gary wrote this while watching him being airlifted to Adelaide Airport, for transfer to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. A deal was made with CBS Records that enabled the proceeds of all record sales and royalties to go direct to Peter’s rehabilitation.
